Sofomo – Great Website for Best of iTunes

Ever wondered where to find the best of iTunes? Sofomo's music charts are an easily accessible and easy-to-use website that features the top 10 songs of iTunes. Sofomo displays the latest updates on the iTunes favourites.

It shows the titles, with pictures of the CD covers, as well as details of the genre, release date, and price. At the moment, it appears that Eminem's single "Love the Way You Lie" is at the top. This track is unique in that it's a collaboration between the rap mega star, Eminem, and the R&B diva, Rihanna.

At second place is Taio Cruz, with his track "Dynamite" off his pop album entitled "Rokstarr." On the other hand, Kate Perry comes in at Number Three as she sings with the rap legend Snoop Dogg for the single "California Gurls." Other singles that are currently the best of iTunes come from artists such as Jason Derulo, B.o.B. and Travie McCoy.

Review of the Best of iTunes

In the iTunes music charts, it seems that Eminem's fame is exploding as the rap star recently scored the Number One single and album. Having achieved the top spots for both single and album categories is amazing for Eminem. He even has another single, called "Not Afriad", in the Top 10 iTunes charts which is placed at Number Nine.

In other parts of the iTunes charts, Big Boi landed the Number Two spot for his album, whereas the Eclipse soundtrack which features the songs from the hit movie, came in at Number Three. Another interesting development is that Enrique Iglesias has released a new single which has reached the Top 5, even though his music career had been kept on hold for quite a while now.

Most Downloaded Music On iTunes

Apple, the company responsible for making the online music store, iTunes, announced the most often downloaded iTunes songs of all time. Surprisingly, the number one favourite iTunes song was "I Gotta Feeling" by the superstar group Black Eyed Peas.

The other best songs on iTunes included Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and her song with Colby O'Donis, "Just Dance." Well-known music artists such as Kate Perry, Coldplay, Beyonce and Taylor Swift had their songs also featured on the list of iTunes favourites.

In February 2010, Apple had reached a great milestone when iTunes had sold its 10 billionth song. The Apple iTunes online music store has over 12 million songs available for download and is the largest music retailer in the United States.

Music plays a huge role in the world. The Apple ipod and the itunes program have changed the way individuals purchase, listen and share music. The online system that connects people to the latest tracks and new singers, allows individuals to purchase and download music legally.

Many people are sharing their itunes favorites by adding music on their myspace page or listing the music favorites on facebook. There is however a growing community at Pod Playlist, which encourages individuals to share the best of itunes playlists and songs.

Sharing playlists can mean individuals are able to connect with others who have similar taste in music. The benefits of joining is finding new bands, singers and music. Pod Playlist gives people opportunity to share their own music and creative flare.
